Davidized!

Today was the Milwaukee Bradford Beach Triathlon in Milwaukee, WI. Dad and Michelle both participated and really kicked ass. They did the olympic distance and both came in first in their age groups and Michelle even managed to get 5th overall for the females.

Since I’d just taken a bunch of triathlon pictures earlier this summer, for this one I decided I’d try some different things – especially since the bike section was a set of 6 loops so I could get multiple opportunities to get good shots. I tried to capture some motion blur in the background rather than just freezing everything in the frame. Personally I’m pretty happy how they turned out since it’s not something I’ve ever tried before.
