Davidized!

A few weeks ago I was feeling the urge to go out and shoot some night photos since I haven’t dine that in a while. I’d been thinking that I’d like to try and take some skyline pictures since the ones I’ve taken in Minneapolis aren’t that great and I’ve never even tried to take any in Rochester.

I went on flickr to find some ideas for where to shoot skyline pictures from to at least give me a starting point – plus I really didn’t want to spend forever trying to find a good place to shoot from.

I’d also been thinking about doing some panoramas for a while now and figured this would be a good opportunity to give that a shot. I was pretty happy with how they turned out and it’s something I’ll definitely be trying more often in the future.

The resulting images are below. The first was stitched from three images and the second from four images.
